It appears that every month, if not every week, different makers are coming up with the most recent digicams to lure potential customers. And it’s just not working for you!
After spending sizeable amount of time at the mall figuring out which is the best electronic camera, we eventually have enough funds to buy that eye-popping, 10 megapixel, 10x digital zoom, candy colored, up to 512MB expandable memory of super hi-speed SD memory storage and not to mention awfully portable, ( that will be the envy of most everybody we know ). We march to the mall fitted out with our lifetime savings and plenty of pride in ourselves, when we go by a new display – a 12 megapixel, up to 4GB expandable memory, with built it mic and stereo surround, video playback capable, with twenty-two beautiful modes kind-of-camera. And we sigh because the producer of this superb gadget claims that this is the number one yet out in the market. And so as we usually want to have the best, supplied with our savings and a few credit cards, we buy the "best digital camera." but then again, that does not last very long, after 2 months or thereabouts there’s another "best" one.
And so it confuses us. What makes a digicam, the best electronic camera?
Well, there are certain factors to consider when trying to find this super duper electrical device.
Megapixels. One of the most vital features of a digicam to make it into the best electronic camera class is its megapixel property. The higher the mega pixels the better the particular image will come out. A mega pixel is like one million pixels. The resolution of your image is based upon the megapixel property of your camera. This suggests that as you extend the picture, you would get more detail and less blurred colors.
LCD SIZE. The best electronic camera will always have a giant LCD to help you frame your subject while not having to squint to the view-finder. This is also beneficial when reviewing your photographs, some cameras enable touch up and modifying features with its LCD. A 1.5-inch display is average, a 2-inch LCD display is good, but the best LCD size would be 2.5 inches or higher.
ZOOM. Most electronic cameras have both electronic and optical zoom. A higher optical zoom is always much better than a higher digital zoom. Digicams are generally furnished with optical of between 3x to 10x. The better the optical zoom, the higher it climbs up to the A+ category.
MEMORY CARD. Always ensure that your memory stick is the correct one for your digital camera. There are several kinds of memory card like the xD, SD, Flash card and the likes. And these kinds of memory devices go with specific kinds of digicams. Of course memory storage is also up there in choosing the best electronic cameras. Select the dimensions of memory that you need, if you’re a photo addict, you may need more than 64MB. Memory sticks can go up to few GB these days.
The key point to find the best electronic camera is to find one that will best fit you and your lifestyle. Don’t just buy the latest or the one that claims they’re the best digicams out in the market. You would not want to purchase a DSLR and use it with your house activities or family outing and have to carry it around? ! Or you do not need to buy the latest point-&-shoot digital camera when you’re serious about being a pro cameraman. ( of course, you can use this for a start, but if you aren’t a beginner shutter-bug anymore, you would not wish to get this sort of camera. )
in actual fact the best digicam is the one that you may enjoy and use. An easy camera will get the job done. Not the type that you’ll just leave crumbling in its box or after a few weeks of use or thereabouts up there in the loft.
